Beijing bars, pubs and clubs A popular bar area is 'Sanlitun'. This embassy area can be divided in 3 parts (North-, South and East) and is in the North-East of Beijing. Many foreigners and expats come to this place. Except bars there are also restaurants. 'Sanlitun Lu' is in the North area. Its also known as 'the Bar Street': a row of bars on one side of the street. In the alleys you will find some more bars/restaurants. Most easy way is to go by taxi from your hotel.
