  • Nanshan Ski Village
  • Largest ski resort located near Miyun County, 70km from Beijing. Skiing, snowboarding, sledding, toboggan run, iceclimbing, cable hang-glider and children snowmobiles. Trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers.
    There is a direct bus service running to Nanshan 7 days/week with seat reservation. Departure Beijing 8.30, return is at 17.30. Return ticket price is 30 Yuan, travel time 50 minutes.
    Opening time in Winter: 09.00 - 17.30.
    Ski rates 2009/2010 (Including ski rental and lift ticket) for full day is 220/360 Yuan in the weekday/weekend.

  • Huaibei Ski Resort
  • Located at Jiugukou Natural Scenic Spot near a river with the Great Wall around. Distance to Beijing is 70km. Several ski trails: 4 trails for beginners, 2 intermediate and 1 advanced trails. Total length of the trails is 3800m; the drop elevation of 238m. Cableway has length of 1200m.
    Huaibei Ski Resort also offers archery, horse drawn sledding, snowmobiles, ropeways, a ski school and rental shop.

  • Yunfoshan Ski Resort
  • Yunfo Mountain Vacationing Village is located in Xiwangzhuang Town of Miyun County. The Buddha Cloud Ski Resort Creek has one trail for advanced skiers, 3 trails for intermediates and 4 beginner trails.

  • Qiaobo Ice and Snow World
  • Indoor skiing all year round in Beijing. Address: 6 Shun’an Lu, Shunyi District.

  • Lianhuashan Ski Resort
  • Located in Shunyi District, 30km from Beijing Capital Airport. Two advanced runs, three intermediate runs and two beginner trails. Full day cost 240/400 Yuan.

  • Yabuli Ski Resort
  • Yabuli Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in China. It's located between Harbin and Mudanjiang


  • Shijinglong Ski Resort
  • Located in Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing County, 80km north of Beijing. Modern ski resort of 35 hectares with 7 ski runs and Beijing's longest trails. The ski run for beginners is over 3.000 meters. Ski school, snowboard park, sleigh rides, ice skating, curling and snowmobiling.
    Opening hours 08.00-18.00 from December till February. Entrance fee is 20 Yuan. A full day skiing cost 220/360 Yuan for weekday/weekend.

  • Wanlong Ski Resort
  • Wanlong is located in Honghualiang, Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei province. Distance to Beijing is 249km. Shuttle bus from Beijing South Gate of Worker's Stadium cost 120 Yuan roundtrip.
    Wanlong offers a wide range of slopes for intermediate/advanced skiers. Resort has good reviews of skiers on the internet. Detailed website in Chinese/English and German: www.wlski.com

  • Located in the New Tech Developing Zone, Badaling Town, Yanqing County. Three ski runs; Badaling Ski is most suitable for beginners. Opening hours from 08.30 - 18.30
