    Guangyuan is a large city in Sichuan Province, China. Guangyuan includes 3 districts (Chaotian, Lizhou, Yuanba) and 4 counties (Cangxi, Jiange, Qingchuan, Wangcang). The city was hit by an heavy earth quake in 2008. Total population of Guangyuan is 3.1 million people.

    Guangyuan Airport is located in the Lizhou District 14km from the city. Direct flights to Beijing, Guangzhou and Jiuzhaigou.

    The train Guangyuan - Hohhot has 25 stops including Lanzhou and Baotou. Hardseat ticket is allmost 200 Yuan, hardsleeper 350-380 and a softsleeper is 570-600 Yuan. Train T22 between Chengdu - Lhasa stops in Guangyuan, Lanzhou, Xining, Golmud, Nakchu and Lhasa.
