We were in Jiuzhaigou Park in July 2007. The first day we visited the Zechawa Valley. The park bus drove till the last stop where everybody got out.
The first attraction, besides the scenery, was Five Color Lake with crystal clear water. Above the Five Color Lake is the Long Lake (altitude 3150m) where the end is of the footpath. Downhill the path goes along Upper Seasonal Lake and mount Yuzhigonggai (4350m), Middle Season Lake and the Lower Seasonal Lake. The next boardwalks start at Nuorilang Waterfall. The park restaurant is near the Nuorilang Waterfall.
As you can see on the pictures, there are many visitors. In high-season daily at least 12.000 people. The wood boardwalks are small so we walked quite much of the time alltogether to the next point of interest. The next day in the Rize Valley, the crowds were less and we enjoyed our hiking more.
