Next to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium.

With special sound and lighting effects there is a special atmosphere created. The Aquarium is divided in 9 zones with a collection of more than 450 species of aquatic animals from the 5 continents and 4 oceans. Except fishes,reef and plants from all over the world there were even penguins. It was impressive to walk through the 120 meter ocean sightseeing tunnel and to look right into the eyes of the sharks.

- Sharks: 10.30 - 11.00 and 15.00 - 15.30
- Penguins: 11.00 - 11.15 and 16.00 - 16.15
