Stanley Market is a street market on Hong Kong Island. Small stalls and shops are selling silk, clothes, ornaments, luggage, souvenirs, and Chinese arts and crafts. The market is wellknown in Hong Kong and a main tourist destination. It is not close to the city but on the other side of Hong Kong Island. It is less than one hour by public bus no 6/260 from bus terminus in Central at Exchange Square. Fare is HKD8 for an one-way ticket.
Besides the market there is a nice boulevard along the sea. The terraces serve mainly food but drinks only are also allowed. Prices are (ofcourse) not cheap. Small shops on the boulevard sell icecream, fruit, drinks and clothes.
A little bit away is a building with restaurants, ATM’s, shops and parking garage. A McDonald restaurant is on the ground floor.
