  • metro/underground
    The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) has 7 lines including the Airport Express and the Disneyland Resort Line.

    Here you will find timetables, tickets and fares, services and tourist information. Also a journey planner (with bus/minibus)

    With the 'Octopus Card' you can save money and time. Instead of paying for every ride (with coins) you can buy this pass and add electronically some money on it.

  • railway
    Train company is: the Kowloon-Canton Railway(KCR).
    Except a connection with Guangzhou ('KCR East Rail') it also has the KCR West Rail, KCR Light Railand Kowloon Southern Link. Longer-distance passenger services start/end at station Hung Hom. KCR operates also feeder bus services.

  • airport
    Hong Kong International Airport is located 40 kilometres west of of Hong Kong.

    It includes flight information, Passenger Guide and transport to/from the airport.(bus-,train schedules and limousines) The Airport Express Train operates between 05.50 to 01.15 daily.

    Also all information about connections with Guangdong province. (coaches, ferries and cargo terminal)
    Mainland coaches depart from Hong Kong Airport between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m from the Arrivals Hall. Destinations: Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Shenzhen Airport, Huizhou, Foshan, Changping and others.

  • taxis
    Urban taxis (red) serve all destinations throughout Hong Kong including the airport except Tung Chung Road and roads in south Lantau. New Territories taxis (green) serve only the New Territories and specified roads on Lantau and the airport for access to/from the Ground Transportation Centre. Lantau taxis (blue) serve all destinations in Lantau and the airport.

  • bus
    Several companies operate franchised public bus services. The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB) is the largest bus operator(www.kmb.com.hk). Another bus company is citybus (www.citybus.com.hk) Both websites have route planners/timetables.

  • Star Ferry
    This ferry links Central District on Hong Kong Island with Tsim Sha Tsui. There are 4 routes:
    Hung Hom <-> Central
    Hung Hom <-> Wanchai
    Wanchai <-> Tsim Sha Tsui
    Central <-> Tsim Sha Tsui
