Huanglong mountain

China travel

    In july 2007 we visited Huanglong mountain. The altitude was above 3000m. Huanglong is a scenic area in Songpan County and listed as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

    A cable car took us to the top where we could walk to the pools and hot springs. Maybe it was the fast difference in height when i felt dizzy and tired. The altitude in Chengdu is 500m where we came from with the bus.

    On the top of Huanglong are several resting points where you can sit and get some oxygen. Temperature was not as cold as i thought. A warm sweater is enough. The second and third day we went to Jiuzhaigou
