Beihai Park

Beihai Park is located in central Beijing behind the Forbidden City. It is one of the oldest and most authentically preserved imperial gardens in China. The park is about 70 hectares and has a large lake.

Popular attractions are:
– White Dagoba; on top of the small island in the lake
– Nine Dragon Wall: with reliefs of 9 Chinese dragons
– Hao Pu Creek Garden
– Five Dragon Pavilions
– Miaoxiang Pavilion

In the park are pavilions, restaurants and one can hire a pedal boat. Openings time in the summer: from 6.00 to 22.00. Ticket price is 10 Yuan in high season. In low season it is 5 Yuan. The ticket price including the island in the lake is 20 Yuan.
