Chengdu travel
Wenshu Temple is the best preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu.
Inside are the temple buildings with garden, a teahouse, a vegetarian restaurant and precious paintings. The atmosphere in the garden is relaxed. In the shadow you can drink some tea or make a stroll through the park.
The ticket window is about 30 meters before the entrance. Admission is 5 Yuan.
Wenshu is located in an old neighbourhood near the river between the central train station and Tianfu Square (the central square with the Mao statue). Bus nr. 16 goes through the center to Renmin Zhong Lu where you should get out. A taxi is only 5 Yuan for the first 3km.
