We visited the Black Dragon Pool Park in August 2007 on our last day in Lijiang (5 nights).
It was raining that day and not very warm. There were just a few visitors. Inside is a temple and in the garden a small orchestra was playing. On sunny days you can make nice pictures of the park with on the background the Jade Snow Mountain (5500m).
Entrance fee is not cheap: 60 Yuan p.p. You also need a second ticket for preservation Lijiang Old Town: 80 Yuan p.p. (see Wanggu Pagoda
