Sanya
Sanya is a popular beach resort on Hainan Island in China. Hainan is a peninsula with beautiful sandy beaches, scenic spots and a subtropical climate. Three wellknown bays are: Sanya Bay (in town), Dadonghai Bay and Yalong Bay (most far away). Sanya Bay is the cheapest place. In Yalong Bay are the most international 5 star hotels and private beaches. Many Russian tourists visit Hainan Island. Total population of Sanya is about 500.000 people.

Sanya Phoenix International Airport is 20km from the city. Flights to 23 cities in China and international flights to Singapore, Macao, Malaysia, Thailand, Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo. Airport buses to the city, to Sanya Bay and to Dadonghai Bay. A taxi to Yalong Bay is about 120 Yuan, to Dadonghai 60 Yuan and Sanya Bay 40 Yuan. Sanya Bus Station is located in Jiefang Erlu. Buses to cities within Hainan Island and to the provinces Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan and Jiangxi. To Haikou is an express bus. Travel time 3,5 hours; fare between 50-80 Yuan depending of the bus model.
