    Dongguan is an important industrial city located in the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong province. Distance to Guangzhou centre is 50km and to Shenzhen 56km. Total population is about 6.5 million.

    airports
    Dongguan has not it's own airport. However several large airports are nearby. It's 50km to Guangzhou airport, 50 km to Shenzhen airport and 100km to Hong Kong airport. All of these airports have shuttle buses to Dongguan centre.

    bus Guangzhou airport
    About 40 buses daily leave from Dongguan Wanjiang to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. The first bus is 5.30; last bus to Baiyun airport is 20.30. The trip takes about 100 minutes; fare is 53 Yuan.
    Shuttle buses to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport are also running from Dongguan Dalang. Frequency is less than from Dongguan Wanjiang; 12 buses daily. Trip takes 120 minutes; fare is 70 Yuan.

    The shuttle bus from Dongguan to Shenzhen Bao Airport leaves from Dongguan Humen and from Dongguan Nancheng (near Zhangmutou Railway Station)
    The bus trip to Shenzhen airport takes about 1 hour; fare is 30 Yuan (Humenzhen) and 40 Yuan (Nancheng). First bus leaves 8.20; last bus is 21.20

    Dongguan Railway Station and Dongguan East Station are both located in Changping Town. Changping is a town of 500.000 people within the minicipality Dongguan.

    Dongguan is located between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Distance from Dongguan Railway Station to Guangzhou East Station is 82km and to Shenzhen Station 57km. The D-trains to Guangzhou make one stop in Shilong but are the most fast (46 minutes). Fare is 54-60 Yuan for a soft seat. The T-trains between Dongguan - Guangzhou operate nonstop (57 minutes). Hard seat for this train is 15 Yuan. Trains running between Dongguan and Shenzen make a stop in Zhangmutou.

    Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center is located in the center of the new urban area of Dongguan city. The Center has a size of 32.000 square meters. The Exhibition Center focuses on cultural developments of Dongguan municipality. About 10.000 square meters are available for exhibitions and display.
