Lijiang, Sifan Square

    Sifang Square is the center of the Old Town in Lijiang. Several important roads in the Old Town start from this square.

    Woman in local costumes are often dancing on the square in daytime. Ofcourse everybody want a picture of this and some of the tourists join the dancers.

    On the square are mainly tourist shops. Also a few cafe-restaurants on the corner near the canal and bridge. Bar Street is here around the corner.

    East Street is a wide road with several ATM's and many shops. At the end of East Street is a square with the Water Wheel. From Sifang Square also leads a road uphill to the Wanggu Pagoda
