    Harbin Taiping International Airport has flights to Russia, South Korea, Los Angeles and Japan. Flights to Beijing (2hr),Shanghai(2.5hr),Tianjin(3hr) and Guangzhou(4hr) are daily, 7 days a week.
    Location of the airport is 46 km from Harbin, bus fare is 20 Yuan.
    A taxi is about 120 Yuan.

    Harbin is a railway-hub. It has connections with cities all over China. Direct trains run to Dalian, Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan, Tianjin and Shenyang.
    There are 2 main train stations:

    # East Harbin Station

    - 9 trains a day departs to Beijing (travel time between 11-17 hours)
    - 4 trains a day to Dalian (travel time between 9-13 hours)

    Ice Lantern Festival
    World famous festival, held every year from January 5 to February 5 in Zhaolin Park. Magnificent sculptures are made of ice and snow often with coloured lights inside them to create the atmosphere of a fairytale.
    Admission is 40 Yuan.
