Nanning
Nanning is the capital of Guangxi Province in the south of China. Distance to Vietnam is 160km. The city is called 'The Green City' because of its subtropical trees and flowers. Urban population is about 2.5 million people.
airport
Nanning Wuxu International Airport has flights to 25 cities in China and to Hanoi (Vietnam). Distance form the airport to the city is about 32 km. Fare of the airport bus is 15 Yuan. A taxi is about 100 Yuan. Website of the airport is www.nnairport.com (in Chinese).
train
Nanning Railway Station is in the center of the city.

There is also an international train to Hanoi in Vietnam. It leaves 18.20 in the evening from Nanning; arrival in Hanoi Gia Lam station is 05.00 in the morning. A hardsleeper cost 160 Yuan; a softsleeper is 250 Yuan. Tickets are sold on the railway station.

There are several long distance bus stations in Nanning. Langdong Bus Station seems to be the most important one. Address Langdong bus station is: No. 186, Minzu Da Dao. Buses from Langdong Bus Station to Guilin, Liuzhou, Beihai and Hengxian.
Bus to Hanoi Vietnam:
Bus Ticket Offices in Nanning: 80 Chaoyang Lu, Langdong Coach Station(186, Minzu Da Dao) and 10 Youai Lu. It takes 7 hours by bus from Nanning to Hanoi. Ticket price is 150 Yuan. Departure times are daily between 8.40 and 13.40.
Bus to Shenzhen Huanggang Port - Hong Kong:
Departure: 20.00 at Nanfang Hotel, 20.30 from 10 Youai Lu and 21.10 from Nanning Langdong Bus Station
Bus to Zhuhai Gongbei (Macau):
Departure: 19.30 from 10 Youai Lu and 20.30 from Langdong Bus Station
